Littlehampton is an interesting Adelaide Hills village located just off the South Eastern Freeway. Like many hills hotels this property was built in the 1800's and was first licensed in 1854. Littlehampton is also only a short distance from the famous Oakbank horse racing track. Legend has it that the first meeting to organise the Great Eastern Steeplechase was held in this hotel that bears its name.

A Great Eastern Steeplechase mural in the front bar depicts some of the hotel's history. There is no doubt that the hotel has a racing theme and accordingly has Sky and TAB to go with great beer and value counter meals. And yes they use lots of fresh produce grown locally. The children are also welcome as well and they have their own menu of favourites. There are great lunch specials on offer for bus groups and the daily specials are well worth coming up to Littlehampton for.
