Welcome to the WA/SA Border Village Hotel

As the name implies, Border Village is located right on the border of Western Australia and South Australia. The highway closely skirts the Great Australia Bight before arriving at Border Village. Nowhere in the world could the term "at worlds end" be more appropriate than where the Nullarbor Plain drops a sheer 40 to 90 metres into the pounding Southern Ocean. Continental Australia ends as if it has been cut by a giant scalpel. This area is known as the Bunda Cliffs, stretching in an unbroken natural rampart from Twin Rocks at the Head of Bight to the Merdayerrah Sandpatch east of Border Village.
